About the show

The high-heeled Broadway hit, Kinky Boots the musical is now showing in London’s West End.

With songs by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, it is a hilariously heart-warming tale of footwear and friendships. A massive hit on Broadway, Kinky Boots tickets are now in hot demand on this side of the pond with the run at the Adelphi Theatre extended due to sell-out performances.

Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots London tells the tale of Charlie Price, a young man who’s struggling to live up to his father’s expectations and continue the family footwear business. But as the future of the Price & Son shoe factory hangs in the balance, Charlie meets Lola. A glamorous stage performer, Lola is in need of some sturdy new stilettos.

Simon-Anthony Rhoden leads the cast as Lola, with David Hunter as Charlie. Cordelia Farnworth plays Nicola, while Verity Rushworth plays Lauren. Alan Mehdizadeh takes the role of Don, with Michael Hobbs playing George.

From 4 June, Oliver Tompsett takes over as Charlie and Natalie McQueen joins the company as Lauren. Sean Needham joins to play George and Antony Reed plays Don. Simon-Anthony Rhoden and Cordelia Farnworth continue in their roles.

From the factory floor to the catwalks of Milan, this fabulously flamboyant show was also a 2005 film starring Oscar nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor as Lola.

With choreography and direction by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, dazzling costumes, bags of energy, and a stellar Kinky Boots London cast, this is a musical that proves sometimes the best way to fit in is it to stand out.

A huge hit with critics, The Evening Standard describe Kinky Boots London as “A glorious high-kicking romp”, while The Times called it “An absolute hoot of a show”.

Ensure you book early to take advantage of great deals and cheap Kinky Boots London tickets.
