What you need to know about Omnibus:
Omnibus is a multi-purpose arts venue used for performances, exhibitions and workshops. They programme a mixture of drama, comedy and family theatre. They also schedule live music and host regular exhibitions. Theatre, however, remains at the heart of their schedule. You’ll find a real mixture of theatre here, but it’s definitely possibly to stumble across some real gems from lesser-known names.
The venue supports emerging theatremakers and other creatives. This part of their vision extends to running a youth theatre and other initiatives for young people.
If you have children, this theatre offers a strong selection of shows for little ones and events for all the family to enjoy.
Marie McCarthy is its Artistic Director.
