About the show

Take a trip to Westerberg High for the hit production of Heathers The Musical. Following a sold-out run at The Other Palace, the show transfers to the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Veronica Sawyer is your average high school girl. She’s an everyday student blending into the background. But when cruel teen clique The Heathers take her under their wings, she becomes somebody.

Then, new boy, JD, arrives and changes everything. For a start, people begin to die…

Carrie Hope Fletcher leads the cast of Heathers The Musical, playing Veronica Sawyer. The actress, writer and social media star previously appeared in The Addams Family, Les Misérables and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Jodie Steele, T’Shan Williams and Sophie Isaacs, who played The Heathers during the show’s run at The Other Palace, reprise their performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Jamie Muscato also returns as JD, while Rebecca Lock plays Ms Flemming and Jon Boydon plays Kurt’s Dad.

Heathers The Musical is based on the cult 1980s film that starred Christian Slater and Winona Ryder.

The team of Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy adapted it for the stage. O’Keefe also co-wrote the music and lyrics for Legally Blonde The Musical, while Murphy was previously head writer for Desperate Housewives.

Andy Fickman directs the production. Gary Lloyd is the show’s choreographer.

This production of Heathers The Musical is the highest grossing show in the history of The Other Palace. It is the first show to move from a workshop production to a main house production in the theatre’s history. It is also The Other Palace’s first West End transfer.

Suitable for audiences aged 14 and older.

Heathers The Musical runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 3 September to 24 November.
