About the show

Be part of Agatha Christie’s Witness For The Prosecution at London’s County Hall.

Agatha Christie’s acclaimed play Witness For The Prosecution comes to London in an engrossing new production staged at County Hall. Directed by Lucy Bailey, this visually striking new production is likely to prove unmissable for Christie’s legions of fans.

In the courtroom drama, Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a wealthy widow in order to inherit her wealth. With damning testimony provided by a succession of witnesses, it looks unlikely that Vole will be able to clear his name. But what will the outcome of the case be?

Lucy Phelps leads the cast as Romaine, with former EastEnders star Harry Reid stars as Leonard Vole.

Richard Clothier, Julian Curry, Peter Moreton, Philip Franks, Richard Attlee, Jules Melvin, Hywel Simons, Charlotte Blackledge, Molly Jackson-Shaw, Parys Jordon, Tyler South, Antoinette Tagoe and also Matt Weyland complete the cast.

The unique court house setting of County Hall provides the perfect backdrop for the action taking place in the play. Located on the Southbank, County Hall is easily accessible by public transport, including a number of tube stations.

Agatha Christie remains one of Britain’s best-loved writers. Fans spread across the globe avidly read her murder mysteries. She also wrote The Mousetrap, which is the longest running play anywhere on Earth.

Promising high drama and a mouth-watering mystery: don’t miss this one!

Witness For The Prosecution runs from 6 October 2017 – 31 March 2019 at County Hall.
